On 5th February Viking Cruises announced that the new 47,800gt Viking Star had successfully completed her sea trials in the Aegean during December 2014.

The 930 passenger capacity ship will receive her first guests on 11th April and is currently back at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard for final outfitting

The maiden voyage will sail from Istanbul to Bergen, Norway, where she will be christened on 17th May.
