In 1970 Chandris won the UK to Australia emigrant contract from SITMAR. One of their vessels was the 18,021 grt Ellinis. she was the former Lurline of Matson Line, built in 1932 by Bethlehem Shipbuilding at Quincy. She was broken up in 1987.
